Meiji Tokyo Renka hits Japanese TV on January 9 2019

Most of the anime’s cast is returning from the game, while Yoshimasa Hosoya is returning to voice the character Tōsuke Iwasaki, an original character from the previous anime film. Sumire Morohoshi is also returning from the film to voice the heroine Mei Ayazuki.

The film’s website describes the story’s prologue: On an evening lit by a crimson full moon, an ordinary high school girl named Mei Ayazuki meets a self-proclaimed magician named Charlie at a festival. Through Charlie’s magic, she time-travels to the Meiji era in Tokyo, where she meets and falls in love with various great historical figures from that time period.

Meiji Tokyo Renka TV Anime Reveals January 2019 Premiere

 

The official website for the television anime adaptation of Broccoli’s Meiji Tokyo Renka romance visual novel revealed the anime’s January 2019 premiere and teaser visual on Monday.

Broccoli’s Meiji Tokyo Renka visual novel romance franchise began with a 2011 mobile game, which was ported to PlayStation Portable in 2013. A live-action series and film have also been green-lit. A new iOS and Android game titled Meiji Tokyo Renka Haikara Date is slated for this summer, but has not yet launched.

The anime film adaptation of the game opened in Japan in 2015. Akitarō Daichi (Kamisama Kiss, Ninja Girl & Samurai Master) is directing the television anime at TMS Entertainment, and Junko Yamanaka (Kamisama Kiss, Ninja Girl & Samurai Master) is serving as both character designer and chief animation director.

We love this character very much over the years  ❤

Witnessing his family’s death right before his eyes and seeing their mutilated and bloody corpses has had a traumatic effect on Shinn’s life. However, during flashbacks of his past he was shown to be a very cheerful and carefree person, showing how much he changes through this tragedy.

Since his family’s tragic death, Shinn has become impulsive, stubborn, hot tempered, and occasionally arrogant even to his superior officers. Shinn has also demonstrated to act on his personal feelings despite his common sense and this has also sometimes put him at odds with his superior officers. Nonetheless, Shinn has demonstrated to be a highly determined individual and is extremely dedicated to his role of ending conflicts and protecting innocent lives, so that they do not have to go through the same horrors that he had endured.

Shinn has a great deal of anger towards several major governments, organizations, and individuals that has been contributed due to many factors in his past and his time during war. His anger to these factors has demonstrated to be either negative or positive factors during varying moments of his life. He also has a deep hatred for war and those who cause it, as throughout the series he becomes frustrated at the prospect of war happening again and is visibly upset when it does. By the end of the second war, Shinn seems to have put most of his anger towards these factors behind him evidenced by joining Kira Yamato and Athrun Zala as an ally despite his previous conflict with them; showing great maturity as a character.

Despite all anger and sorrow, Shinn has shown to be a very kind and gentle person mainly to his two love interests in the series Lunamaria Hawke and Stella Loussier both of whom he is very protective of. He still deeply saddened by the world’s cruel actions and all the people that have died in his life; despite his conflicted emotions, he fights for wanting to change the world for the better. Buddy Complex revolves around the main character, Aoba Watase, an ordinary high school boy. He lived an average, everyday life commuting to high school in the city. On the first day back after summer break, Aoba is attacked by a giant robot that appears out of the sky. As he’s pursued through the city, his classmate Hina Yumihara appears in a giant robot of her own. She rescues him, and tells him cryptically that “Dio is waiting,” before she sends Aoba into the future and then disappears. When Aoba wakes up, he finds himself over seventy years into the future, where the Free Pact Alliance and the Zogilia Republic are at war with each other, and there he meets a young pilot named Dio Jyunyou Weinberg. Kalafina- Heavenly Blue (Aldnoah. Zero OP)

It’s ben a while since we heard a really good and dinamic music. The last one we listened to was Gundam Seed and Gundam Seed Destiny OSTs (2002). And yesterday we found that kind of music that brings thrills, that makes you get enveloped with inspiration. And the interesting fact is that the composer of that music is the one who composed lots of soundtracks for Gundam Seed and Gundam Seed Destiny. Yuki Kajiura  is the producer of KALAFINA girls band, she is the one who gives her music that unique taste.

By the way, the anime Aldnoah. Zero is a good one, but it has the saddest end we have ever seen! O_O But OSTs are awesome!
